Time for Change in the Clerks office! Time for Tara

Tara will bring new energy and efficiency along with experience and know-how to the Philipstown Town Clerk's office. Tara is no stranger to Town Hall, where she has served in a number of key roles, including within the Town Clerk. 

One of Tara's top priorities as our new town clerk is to create a more approachable, consumer-focused government. The Town Clerk is often the face of our local government for residents and business owners when they need services or guidance in dealing with an issue. Whether it's inquiring on how to file for a permit, to register a noise issue, or track down a record - the role of the Town Clerk is as much about thinking first of our residents' needs and requests as it is being a trusted hand to the Town Council, Supervisor, and departments of our local government.

A life long Philipstown resident, Tara knows the amazing diversity of ideas and backgrounds that call this town home. As Town Clerk, she will be committed to ensuring everyone is treated not just with respect - but with good cheer. We are a better town when we know we can count our Good Neighbors when we need them. And this is the kind of change we need in the Clerk's office.
